PREPARE YOUR SURFACE:
If applying to a painted wall or other surface, wipe surface with a lint free cloth. If surface is really dirty, clean using plain water and then wait 24 hours or overnight before applying vinyl. If surface is freshly painted we suggest waiting 2-3 weeks before the application of any expression or graphic.
DIRECT APPLICATION METHOD:
Position your expression on the wall location of your choosing. Using painter’s tape (or any other tape easily removed) in the top left and right corners, stick expression to wall. Mark the wall at the top corners of the expression using a pencil. Remove expression from the wall (also remove tape) and place expression face up on a flat surface. Using enclosed application squeegee, rub expression. Turn expression over and slowly remove thick backing (pulling up at an angle). Place expression back on the wall within the guide marks previously made. Push down on the corners only to make sure expression is level and where you want it. *If you press down on entire expression, you’ll be unable to move it if it’s not in the correct position*. Once level, start at center of expression and secure it to the wall by using your hand to rub in both directions. Using application squeegee again, press and rub firmly across entire surface of expression. Lastly, remove transfer tape by grabbing a corner and pulling it up and back at an angle until completely removed. If at any time the vinyl doesn’t want to stick to the wall and is still adhered to the transfer tape, simply rub transfer tape with a rocking motion back and forth (pressing against the wall) until vinyl sticks.
HINGE APPLICATION METHOD:
